Sharon Kay Riddlebarger

WHEELERSBURG-Sharon Kay Riddlebarger, 81, of Wheelersburg, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at her home. Sharon was born August 31, 1939 in Portsmouth to the late William McCoy and Virginia Flannery McCoy. She is a high school graduate, a homemaker and a member of Cornerstone Nazarene Church. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by a brother, John McCoy and two sisters, Judy Boehm and Janet Roe. Sharon is survived by her husband, Lee Riddlebarger whom she married August 31, 1957 in Portsmouth. She is also survived by a son, Brian (Debi) Riddlebarger of Westerville; a daughter, Lisa Bowman of Myrtle Beach; a sister, Delores Grish of MI; four grandchildren, Ashley (Eric) Dingus, Brandon Jackson, Trenton Riddlebarger and Ryan Riddlebarger and three great grandchildren, Laiken, Kailen and Skylan Dingus.

Services for Sharon will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Matt Hancock officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, 11:00 am until the 1:00 pm service. Condolences to the family may be made at

Lee as you know Sharon and I was friends for over 40 years we were more like sisters and it broke my heart when you call to tell me of Sharon passing,she will live in my heart for ever,I will be praying for You,Brian and Lisa and the family if there is any thing I can do for you just give me a call.Love always Kay
